EASTER EGG HUNT
Saturday, March 27, 2010
Cool weather and a steady breeze could not stop the youngsters from coming to the annual Easter Egg Hunt held on March 27, 2010. Ages 0-10 went on an egg scramble and tried to pick up as many eggs as their little hands could get. Being a small community you see the same faces year in and year out and you see the little ones who the previous year could barely walk to get the eggs and then this year they are sprinting with all the others trying to get as many eggs as they can. This is why the Fellowship House is so fortunate to be located in Conshohocken. The support year after year by the residents and surrounding areas make our special events that much more meaningful to see our youth grow up right before our eyes.

The Fellowship House 2nd Annual Spring Fashion Show
May 6, 2010
The 2nd Annual Spring Fashion Show was held on May 6, 2010. Many women of all ages came to the event and had an enjoyable evening. Some used this event as a girls night out and some men came to support their loved ones. The night began with cocktails and appetizers, followed by a lovely dinner and dessert combination prepared by Mr. Doug Runyen, owner of Fayette Street Grille. Before and during dinner 50/50 tickets were sold and also raffles were bought to try to win one of the many baskets donated graciously by numerous business in Conshohocken and the surrounding areas.
Many thanks goes to all who volunteered to help make this event so successful and enjoyable, but especially the Fashion Show Committee, headed by Dayle Malantonio and Marie McMonagle, who put in countless hours during the previous months to make this night as wonderful as it was. Also, a special Thanks to the Board of Managers whose effort to help the Fel stay afloat is very much appreciated. The Board of Managers is a volunteer board who dedicate countless hours to make sure the Fellowship House can operate on a daily basis and many in the community appreciate the time and effort you set forth on a daily basis.

The 2nd annual winter carnival was held February 20, 2010 from 11am – 4pm. Everyone who attended enjoyed every minute they were here and it took a lot of convincing by their parents to make them leave. Watching the smiles on the little ones bounce up and down and run around to each moonbounce makes you realize that this is why the Fellowship House is open and will continue to run with the community’s help. The Fellowship House is so grateful to have such a dedicated community to support the events at the Fellowship House and hope to have the continued support to help the community center stay alive and functioning in the future.
The Fellowship House would like to thank Beanie Bounce Party Rentals and especially Angela Hendrick, President of Beanie Bounce Party Rentals for helping us with this wonderful event. Every piece of equipment for this event was donated by Beanie Bounce to help the Fel run this great event. The Fellowship House could not run an event like this without the help of all the volunteers who donated their time to help and a special thanks to the Staff at the Fel, who work every day and every week at the Fel to make sure that the youth of Conshohocken has someone to go that is a safe environment and that their parents know that when they are at the Fel they are ok.
